Please note that the WCIRB has changed their policy regarding subpoenaing coverage information on a business. Citing Section 4055.2 of the Labor Code, the WCIRB is now requiring that the subpoena be served on all parties of record in the proceeding. Therefore, in order for our office to subpoena coverage information, we need to serve the applicant/applicant attorney, the defendant, and the business for which coverage information is being sought.
If your office is the current handler of the claim, it is possible for
you to request the information directly from the WCIRB.
